Frequently asked questions
How do guests find their own photos?
They take one selfie in "Find My Photos". It's matched against the event's photos and returns every photo they appear in. The selfie is deleted immediately after matching.
Do guests need to install an app?
No. They scan a QR code or open a link, sign in, and upload straight from their phone's browser.
Can I review photos before they're shared?
Yes. Guest uploads are visible only to you for approval before they're shared with other guests.
Is face recognition private and safe?
It's opt-in and off by default — it runs only for guests who turn it on. The selfie is used to find matches, then deleted. You can exclude any photo from face matching, biometric face data is deleted 30 days after it's last processed (reprocessing resets the window), and photos are hosted in the EU.
How long are the photos kept?
Your album stays available, and you can download the originals anytime. How long originals are retained depends on your plan, and you can extend it with an add-on.
